One of the outings we went on while in Heber was the scenic road (150) to Mirror Lake. If you take it farther, you end up in southwestern WY! But we stopped short of that...

And we're there! Mirror Lake.
We were sort of surprised to see that we had climbed our way right back into winter! But Mirror Lake is in the Uinta Mountains. The lake's elevation is over 10,000 feet, and some of the Uinta peaks are more than 13,000!
We walked a little bit of the neat boardwalk trail along one end of the lake...

I can imagine how pretty this must be when things green up, later in the summer!

And looking at the Heber Valley and the Deer Creek Reservoir.
I am sure I would look pretty good looking into that lake. Ha! Best part of these pictures is the snow. Woohoo!
