This place was advertised as a mecca for wildlife, so I took the dogs with me for a late afternoon outing, hopeful for some sightings. But I think they must have been referring to people - maybe they get rowdy on the weekends? But fishermen and campers were all we saw...
However, as you can probably imagine, knowing these pooches as you by now do!, Zou and Hayes had a blast!
No one was right there where we were, so I let them loose. And then they let loose!
Woo-hoo! Life is good!!

The area around the reservoir was very pretty grass and sagebrush. No, that's not a fog rising in the distance - it's dust from drivers on the dirt roads!
