Fortunate to be in Fortuna

The right driving distance from Cloverdale ended up being Fortuna.  It was also where I found a nice-looking, decently-priced RV park, finally!  So I booked us for FOUR whole nights!  It turned out to be a good stop for us - it was a nice campground, and there was a great dog park only a mile away!
On our way there, Tracky travels in comfort.  Since we changed out our last couch for a recliner, the animals have all been displaced!  Esp. on moving days.  But Tractor sometimes lays claim to this triple decker bed...!  Think he can feel the pea?
Pretty scenery enroute, and look at that - blue sky!!!

 "Area 101."  Hmmm....

Yup, this is the industry up here - wood!  But don't worry - there's LOTS of it!!  And guess what?  It's a renewable resource...  Over time, of course.
Something we don't want to do...!!!
I was shocked to see this outrageously colored river!  You see this sort of thing in the Rockies - glacially-influenced green-blues.  But I didn't expect to see it in northern CA!  Crazy!  But strikingly pretty!
Avenue of the Giants.  Wonder why they call this section that??
Old bridge over cool-crazy-colored Eel River.
And...we're home again!  At the Riverfront RV Park in Fortuna.
Hmm, what's this?!  This is BAD DOG!!!!!  As some of you know, Hayes is a PIG!!!!!!!  A total HOG when it comes to food.  He will beg, borrow, steal, whatever to get food!  And these are the marks he left on our formerly untarnished dining room table when he undoubtedly helped himself to some potential food item on it when we were not in sight...  We try very hard to always put things away when we leave him in the RV, but it's impossible to remember everything all the time!  Plus, that won't stop him from looking and hoping...!  We haven't figured out how to train him out of this, since he does it when we're not there...
Zou, enjoying her sunbath on the dash.  She's such a long dog - one dog bed and one cat bed-worth.
Yup, she's the Dame of the Dashboard all right.
 Tractor, surrounded by dogs, unfazed.
Tracky and his dad out for a late-day stroll.
